A small update to my work in progress. I've continued to refine the silhouette of the various mountain/rock peaks - - adding some highs, some lows, some pass thru's, etc. I also started painting in the surface texture of the distant range and for this post I cropped the image to show this area in more detail. Painting in all of the nooks and crannies is what will take the majority of the time. As of now, all of the actual painting is still on one layer in Sketchbook Pro.
