Day 31 of Inktober 2015. I made it! Hooray!
Overall I'm pretty happy with the drawings. Some good ones - - some ok ones - - but the commitment of creating a new piece each day for 31 days was what it was all about.
This last drawing/painting is actually layer upon layer of an ink wash. 50/50 black ink and water mixed in a waterbrush and painted on watercolor paper. I then used an ebony pencil over the top to add some of the textural elements.
This gargoyle was painted from a photo I took at the Notre Dame Cathedral in Strasbourg France - - an incredibly beautiful city.
