As I mentioned when I posted this watercolor back in January, I intended to add a person rowing in the foreground. I ended up doing this digitally after taking a better photograph of the painting one day when the Sun finally came out and the light offered me a chance to get truer colors. The digital work is a bit of a cheat I suppose, but I like the look.
I think it's going to be a quite a while before we see any open water here in upstate New York.
