This started off as a simple sketch in SketchBook Pro using the ball point pen brush with a dark red color. Many squiggly lines later I moved it into Photoshop and started messing around with copying and pasting the layers to create different symmetry patterns. Variations with Hue and Saturation came next and I finally settled on these two versions.
